Chief Financial Officer and Vice Chancellor for Finance and Administration at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
Matthew M. Fajack joined the University of North Carolina as the Chief Financial Officer and Vice Chancellor for Finance & Administration in June, 2014. Matt served for six years as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for the University of Florida. Prior to joining the University of Florida, Matt spent three years at Kent State University as Executive Director of Financial Affairs and 14 years as Chief Financial Officer for the Dallas-based Beta Capital Group, a private equity firm. In his current role as Vice Chancellor, Matt will oversee campus-wide financial planning and budgeting; treasury and risk management; facilities planning, construction and operations; real estate development; purchasing; public safety, business services, environmental health and safety; and energy services. Matt is a native of Ohio and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from the University of Minnesota. Matt and his wife, Reggie, have three boys.
